Hello, I am Rebecca. I come from a family of fantastic artists, my earliest inspiration being my grandma who could paint and draw like nothing I'd seen before, even into her 90's. Growing up with a father as a tattooist opened my eyes to the possibility of designing yourself, modifications and the idea you can be your own canvas. I always loved being creative, my passion for drawing and being creative stayed hidden for a while until I had semi permanent makeup myself which re-ignited that old flame. The possibility of being able to make someone else happy whilst doing what I love resonated with me. A close relative was diagnosed with an illness which had the potential to cause hair loss, knowing how important hair such as brows can be to people and the feeling I may be able to help filled me with a heartfelt warmth. A negative moment turned into the best positive. It was my mum who encouraged me to follow my heart and so my educational journey began learning new skills, human biology, colour theory and different applications ..the list goes on. 
So why the name la pelle? As a child I was lucky enough to visit the beautiful country of Italy many times, it's mesmerising landscapes, delicious food, beautiful people and a language to capture your heart. Our skin is our canvas and it felt fitting to name my business after this in a language I love, La pelle translated means the skin.
