Cleft Lip Tattooing

Cleft Lip Tattooing is a specialised cosmetic tattooing treatment designed to enhance the appearance of the lip following cleft lip repair. Using carefully selected pigment and advanced tattooing techniques, the treatment can help create greater definition, symmetry and colour balance between the lips.

This treatment is suitable for both unilateral and bilateral cleft lips and can be tailored to each client’s individual anatomy, scar tissue and desired outcome.

Treatment includes 2 sessions.
While two treatments are included, scarred tissue can retain pigment differently from person to person. Because healed scar tissue can be less predictable than non-scarred tissue, additional sessions may sometimes be required to achieve the desired colour, definition and overall result. Any additional treatments will be discussed following assessment and healing.

Cleft Lip Tattooing + Scar Revision Microneedling

Cleft Lip Tattooing can also be paired with Scar Revision Microneedling for healed scars above the lip. Microneedling may help improve the appearance and texture of suitable healed scars by encouraging the skin’s natural renewal process.

Combining these treatments can provide a more comprehensive approach to improving the overall appearance of the lip and surrounding scar tissue.
