Scar camouflage

scar camouflage is designed to conceal/blend healed scars by the implantation of skin coloured pigment into scar tissue or the surrounding skin.

Scar camouflage is best suited for skin grafts where the donor skin is lighter than the surrounding skin.

Camouflage can be performed on surgical scars, however these may benefit from skin needling prior to pigment as your skin may naturally reactivate melanocytes.

Scar camouflage is not suitable for stretch marks as these do not age well over time. Areas in constant sun exposure would not be best suited, pigment does not tan.

Scar Camouflage | Skin Tone Restoration

A refined cosmetic treatment designed to reduce the visual contrast of scars by carefully implanting customised pigment into the skin, helping to harmonise the scar with the surrounding skin tone.

Scar camouflage can be particularly beneficial for scars that have healed with noticeable differences in colour or pigmentation. Each treatment is individually tailored to complement the surrounding skin, with careful consideration given to tone, colour and the characteristics of the scar.

Treatment Course
Scar camouflage is typically performed over a course of a minimum of 2 treatments, although the number of sessions required will depend on the size, location and characteristics of the area being treated. An initial treatment is followed by a further session once the skin has fully healed, allowing the colour and result to be accurately assessed and refined.

As with all cosmetic pigmentation, results are not permanent. Occasional top-up treatments may be required over time to maintain the desired colour and appearance, as pigment can naturally soften and fade.

This treatment is to add further colour of faded Brows.

This is not suitable for a cover up or correctional work due to usually requiring a longer appointment time and two appointments.
