Pre-treatment advice

Before your treatment please ensure that you have completed all the paperwork, the patch test has been carried out and the booking fee has been paid.

Semi permanent makeup is not able to be done on Pregnant or nursing mothers or Anyone under 18 years old.

Semi permanent make-up is a process involving multiple appointments, the final results will be visible approximately 4 weeks following your last appointment.

It is important that 24 hours prior to your appointment no alcohol ibuprofen or aspirin has been consumed.

Do not take fish oil or Vitamin E 1 week prior to the treatment.

Do not pick, wax, tweeze or have electrolysis 1 week before on the treatment area.

Do not have Botox in the treatment area for the 2 weeks before the procedure.

Do not have any facial inc Peels, retinol and AHA 2 or tan for 2 weeks before (Including fake tan).

For brows Do not tint your eyebrows 7 days prior to the treatment and no henna 14 days before.

With lip blush lightly exfoliate lips 3 days before.

Keep lips hydrated in the lead up to your appointment, dry lips will affect the result.

If you suffer from cold sores these can reactivate if having lip blush, make sure you have any cold sore treatment in advance.

For eyeliner refrain from using lash serums at least 2 weeks before eyeliner. as this increases blood flow to the eyelids which makes pigment difficult to implant and can also lead to increased risk of pigment migration.

Please arrive to your appointment on time.

 

It is advisable that you have the treatment with limited social plans for three days following your appointment. This is simply because the pigment will seem darker than it will once the area is healed and you may feel slightly self-conscious.

 

If you are having brow treatments and would like to be numbed prior to the treatment, Emla or similar (Topical anaesthetic) can be purchased from a pharmacy. Always read and follow instructions contained within it to make sure it is suitable for you.. Do not put this on your eyes for liner.

 

Please ensure you are happy with your treatment before leaving as no refunds will be given, however, a perfecting top up will be booked within 9 weeks, approximately 4 weeks following this is when final results will be visible.

 

If you normally wear eyebrow makeup, eyeliner or lipstick, arrive to your appointment with this on, this allows me to see how you normally style your makeup.
