Scar revision/ microneedling (Mca/skin needling)
Medical microneedling is the treatment of causing controlled trauma to the skin to promote new collagen and melanocytes which help the appearance and texture of scars.
This helps with the appearance and texture of surgical scars, acne scarring, stretch marks, self inflicted scars, burn scarring.
Microneedling can promote the activation of melanocytes already within the skin to help white scars appear pigmented naturally
Please note it is not suitable for those who are prone to keloid scarring or those with a compromised immune system or on acne medicine.

Medical Skin Needling | Scar Revision
A clinically advanced skin-remodelling treatment designed to improve the appearance, texture and pliability of scar tissue. Medical skin needling creates precisely controlled micro-injuries within the skin, stimulating the body’s natural regenerative response and supporting the formation of new collagen and elastin.
Over a course of treatments, this controlled remodelling process can help soften and refine the appearance of scars, improve uneven texture and encourage a smoother, more uniform skin surface.
Treatment Area
Each treatment area is approximately 2.5 × 2.5 inches (6.5 × 6.5 cm).
Treatment Course
Scar revision is a progressive process and is best approached as a course of treatments. A minimum of 4–6 sessions is generally recommended, with treatments performed at least 4 weeks apart. This interval allows the skin sufficient time to recover and for the collagen-remodelling process to progress between sessions.
Individual treatment requirements and outcomes will vary according to the scar’s type, age, depth and characteristics, as well as the individual’s skin and healing response. A personalised treatment plan will be recommended following assessment.
